3MUSIC AWARDS 2021: GOSPEL INDUSTRY FULLY REPRESENTED

The 4th edition of this year’s 3music awards took place lastSaturday 27th March, 2021 at the Grand Arena (AICC). The virtual event saw various industry stakeholders including some select few distinguished personalities grace the occasion. 

PERFORMANCES

With a well curated line-up of performances, organisers of the awards scheme served music lovers both virtual and in-person with jaw dropping entertainment that left patrons yearning for more. In all of these, Gospel ministers were not left out. Diana Antwi Hamilton, Efe Grace and KobbySalm fully represented the Gospel fraternity on stage. 

Diana Antwi Hamilton was the first gospel musician to step on stage and of course she came through with a stellarperformance which brought virtually all gathered closer to their maker. 

Talk about the ‘New Leaders of the Gospel Industry’ and the name Efe Grace won’t be left out. The songstress through her unique vocal abilities has registered her name in the minds of music lovers and on the night of the awards, she gave nothing short of a splendid worship session. 

KobbySalm represented the fast growing Urban Gospel fraternity. Being the “Poster Boy,” he is known for his epic and sensational entry  on stage.  The “ASEDA” crooner came really prepared, from his entry in the palanquin to when he joined his colleagues on stage to perform his hit song “ASEDA” and that electrifying performance got social media buzzing.

BOARD

Serving on the board as board members and representing the gospel fraternity were Nii Noi; Artiste Manager, Kwame OB Nartey; Radio Host & Artiste Manager and Frank 5; Radio Host. These powerhouses undoubtedly brought on board their wealth of experience and knowledge in the Gospel industry and sought to project the works of Gospel ministers. 

AWARDS 

On the night; Diana Antwi Hamilton scooped three awards; ‘Best Female Vocal Performance,’ ‘Gospel Song of the Year’ & ‘Gospel Act of the Year.’ Empress Gifty also won the ‘Digital Act f the Year.’
